HELP US FINANCIALLY |
HELP US FINANCIALLY Most of RSVP West’s projects are self-funding, with volunteers’ expenses paid by the organisation or individuals they’re helping. This still leaves us with paying for our office at the CREATE Centre (rent, telephone, computer supplies, copying, and so on) and the expenses of the regional and area organisers, themselves volunteers, since our firm rule is that no RSVP volunteer should be out of pocket as a result of their voluntary work. If you would like to make a donation or provide support in kind, please contact Bob Maggs, the Regional Cordinator.
Cheques for any amount will be gratefully received; they should be made out to the registered charity Friends of RSVP West Region. If your donation were accompanied by a signed Gift Aid form, that would help us even more by allowing us to recover the tax from HM Revenue & Customs. Download the Gift Aid form. A further, longer-term way to consider supporting the work of RSVP is to remember us in your will. If you have already written one, including a legacy to RSVP West is a simple matter of adding an extra instruction to it — what lawyers call a codicil. You do not need to make a new will. (If you haven’t made a will but have money or property, you are strongly advised to make one.) More details are available in our leaflet, Information About Legacies and Wills, which you can download from here. (Both the form and the leaflet are in PDF format; if you haven’t got it, you will need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program to view and print them.) © 2003–08 RSVP West.
